When Logan was a young boy he was playing with a small catapult toy.  The wire that he was shooting went the wrong way and went into his eye.  Eventually a cataract developed over the eye and had to be removed.  He used to tell everyone that he had x-ray vision if they asked about his eye :-)

Christmas Day was very restful.  By the late afternoon we were boiling hot and went and had a swim by Lara and Andrew.  Orin was terrified that he would sink and held onto us for dear life.

Christmas Eve with the family.  It was a beautiful evening.  My favourite part:  Each family had to present a small spiritual thought.  It was so nice to sing Christmas carols and hear testimonies about Jesus Christ.

On Boxing Day we went to my Dad.  Logan spent a lot of time with Orin in the water and eventually he was jumping in the water on his own!  It was lovely to spend time with my family.

This photo was taken after Kyle's Honour's Evening.....He is now a monitor.  After term one next year he will be re-evaluated and may have a chance of being a prefect.  He was SO happy.

We put up the Christmas tree tonight.  It was so much fun watching Orin get excited.  In this photo he has stolen Kyle's Christmas stocking to use as a hat.  It took much persuading on Kyle's part to give it back.

Orin has been complaining that his foot is sore and I kept on looking underneath, thinking that he might have a splinter involved.  This morning he woke up and immediately showed me his foot.  I couldn't miss it this time.  Looked like spider bite to me. I took him to the pharmacy and he said I should take Orin straight to the doctor to get antibiotics.  It is really swollen and sore.

This is the happiness we wake up to every morning!  Usually at 5.00 when Logan leaves, Jesse wakes up and cuddles in bed with me.  He falls  asleep again and I get up and get started with my day.  He is happy and smiling most of the time and I love fetching him from the bed and seeing that smiley face.

Aidan gave a talk in primary today about "How I can prepare now to be a father".  He did really well.  The funny thing was that he thought his talk was for sacrament.  He complained bitterly when we told him that he can't sit on the stand and give his talk.

Travelling to my mom's house I saw beautiful sunflowers all along the highway.  I wondered who had planted them there and how they warmed one's heart.  Tried to take a photo and then thought better of it - 120km and 3 little ones in the car didn't make it a worthwhile option.
